This mare and foal is hand sculpted from a lump of white clay then glazed as green ware and sgraffito method is used to carved into the glaze revealing the raw white clay underneath. A matte background is adorned with 3 birch trees to give the piece a touch of wild. Than fired several more times. The wall hanging is approximately 12 inches long by 9 inches high and a little heavy.
