Elegant and luxurious, this soft afghan is crocheted using yarn made in the USA. The premium yarn is 98% acrylic and 2% other fiber. This yarn is made up of very thin fibers which are held together by a thicker thread. Over time, and with use, this creates a beautiful wispy effect. This afghan shows stripes of yellow-tinted shades of caramel and then other stripes where shades of dark gray are intertwined with caramel to form variations of color. The yarn itself creates these random stripes with an overall tweed-like effect. The afghan is 50" x 60" with a crocheted border and no fringe. So comfortable, so soft, and, with a cozy weight, so warm. Great for cuddling up with a good book or stretching out in front of the TV.
Machine washable and dryable. Wash in top cold water, but do not use bleach. Tumble dry in any heat, but do not iron.
