Vintage W. Goebel Horse and Foal Figurine. Porcelain Mare and Nursing Baby. Detailed Horse and Colt or Filly Statuette Made in W. Germany. I have seen only one other like it in my searches and that one was damaged. As to the Goebel mark, the stylized bee with W Germany to the right of the bee is from 1960 to 1962. So I don't know if just a few were made in those years or if I just haven't been able to find others. It measures 5 1/2 inches long and 5 inches tall. The piece is in very good condition and is such a sweet representation of the bonding of a baby horse and its Mom.
