The "Somerset", a cute drawstring top purse with a flower motif, bead knit, handmade in the Victorian tradition

This "Somerset" style purse is a replica of purses seen in Victorian pattern books and magazines. It is made using the old technique of bead knitting top and is patterned on both sides. It features a drawstring closure and fringe. The dimensions are about 6" long by about 4" wide. Fringe adds about an inch. This would be a great addition to your attire, but could also be used to accent your antique home décor.
