Because I can't read Japanese language, the mark on the bottom I suspect is the artist signature. Please check out information for yourself. I have said it is antique and has been in my possession since the 1990s .
It is a fine porcelain set of 4 pieces and the light passes through the pieces is is so fine. There are no chips, reglues, cracks. etc.
The teapot has an top insert into which the tea is placed and steeps. The pot is not stained inside. The spout is perfect so look at picture. The design is delightful with the lotus leaves and their blossoms in pink. There are some yellow leaves too.
If you can share any information on this set, please do. I have stated it is antique as it has the quality of such a piece. thanks.
The teapot stands 4 inches. Cupt is 4 inch diameter. teapot opening 3.5 inch. Saucer is 5.5 inches.
