Beautiful Frank Olive hat designed by Frank Olive himself! It is one of a kind when it is designed by him!
Made of a quality wool felt by Excello which is stamped on the inside of the crown. The crown is surrounded by an ivory grosgrain ribbon with a bow on the right side and two long pheasant feathers sweeping out from the bow giving it a very dramatic look. The label reads "Frank's Girl, Designed by Frank Olive, New York"!

Frank Olive started making hats in the late 40's or early 50's and opened his first small boutique in the early 50's and in 1971, he opened top a larger boutique on the west side of New York. His hats were "often inspired by men's wear with confidently feminine details. They tended to have clean, chic lines and simple details in the best of materials."

No size is given, but the interior circumference measures 21".

The inside of the brim is soiled as shown in the last photo. No other stains, rips, holes or loose stitching. Great Condition!!!
