This is two Japanese figurines which were made in Italy in the 1970s. They are carved from alabaster and stand on stone plinths.
The Geisha lady is approx. a touch under 10 1/2" (26.5cm) x 3" (8cm)
They are in really lovely condition. One small flaw noted - the back of the gentleman at the base- small chip - as its right at the back and at the bottom not in our opinion too much of an issue.
These are beautiful figurines and the pair make an impressive display.
