Small Olive Wood Bowl. This olive wood is from an olive grove in Tunesia, from a tree that has stopped producing olives. The striking grain pattern has dark lines, swirls and complex patterns on both the inside and outside of the bowl. It is Unique. There are no duplicates. It would be great for candy, small cookies or jewelry. The oil finish is food safe. It measures 4 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches high. The wall thickness is about 1/4 inch. I have signed my name (Spence) and the wood type top (Olive) on the bottom. I am a medical doctor with a passion for trees, burls, and turning wooden bowls on a lathe.
