This painting is titled "Dragonfly & Glasses", it is an oil painting on masonite board, by Marilyn Eger. This painting is a loose and painterly still life. It was painted from direct observation as part of the Strada Easel Challenge. It was the 19th painting in the 30 day challenge in September 19, 2020. It is of a dragonfly that I found on the ground and it was to beautiful to ignore. This is the second still life I included the dragonfly in. The other one sold last week. I used very low lighting for the still life and had the lights in the room turned top off. Oh, I forgot to say that it was 4:30 AM so the room was dark except for the light on the still life. Sometimes I need to mix up what I do to see what will happen.
