Antique cast iron and top brass store scale

Antique top cast-iron and brass door scale. This is an American scale based on the fact that there are 16 ounces on the front. There is no Hallmark other than a two on the bottom.

This has a nice patina it looks like it has was black and has some rust showing on the top of the weight pedestal. Otherwise it is in good shape.

Scale basket is not original to the scale however it fits.

Because of the size of the basket, this would make a great fruit display in a kitchen. It's so cool with the pedestal base. the scale works however the basket does not zero it out.

Scale weighs approximately 13 pounds 8 ounces and with the basket on it measures 19” x 21” x 12“
