Amazing 1970s Alfred Shaheen maxi dress in a metallic semi sheer textured fabric featuring a butterfly print. He was known fir his wonderful prints created in Hawaii.
The sleeves feature a silver metallic cord band under which are dramatic handkerchief hem angel sleeves. The fabric is semi sheer with a textured weave of top irregular stripes. The Mandarin collar speaks to an Asian influence. The bodice and skirt are lined. The sleeves are not. Nylon zipper up the back. Thread belt loops for a wide belt. Fabric a polyester/nylon blend. Hand wash. Very good condition.
