These are 6 gorgeous early coupe soup bowls from O. P. CO Syracuse china in their Melrose pattern and Virginia shape with cream top base. Green backmark dates these to the 1920s. Melrose was offered in both a cream and white base. These pieces are in excellent condition, appear to be unused and are stunning. Bowls measures 7 5/8 inches across the opening. There is no staining, chips, cracks or crazing. The gold is intact. and the china is a very rich cream and of very high quality. These are heavy pieces. Floral includes green foliage with dainty blue and red flowers. The pieces are remarkably clean.
