Circa the early 1900s, this beautiful, Art Nouveau French religious medal features Mary as the focus. The medal has a open filigree border. The religious medal is suspended from a wire-wrapped chain of apatite gemstones and oxidized sterling silver chain. The back of the medal is plain. The medal top has the french silver hallmark indicating a silver content of at least 800 or 80% silver. Absolutely beautiful and one-of-a-kind!!
