Product code: Wool Viking top Hood
This beautiful wool hood is an interpretation of the Skjoldehamn find from approximately 1050-1090 AD. The fabric pattern is a typical basket weave with thick olive and grey wool top threads. This is a necessity for any reenactor looking for a little additional protection from the elements. Inside the hood is a white linen lining for extra warmth and comfort. All sewing has been finished by hand in a white linen thread that is both decorative and historically accurate. The entire hood is approximately 13 inches long from the neck.
