This precious Nursery valance or wall hanging can't help but bring smiles! similar to another I have listed.

Of course there is a happy gnome in the midst of many different alpine flowers and friends!
Bumble bee, dragonflies and butterflies flit around, while the grasshopper and frogs conduct a symphony of their sounds!

It is embroidered in various stitches on rather coarse vintage natural linen or perhaps hemp.
The primary colored floss is multi stranded to stand out giving the designs much dimension.

Trimmed in a 1/2" wide red woven cording on all 4 sides.
There are 7 hand needle lace covered rings to hang it from.

it measures approx. 64" X 24" Excellent condition! Laundered though I got impatient to photo and didn't iron after I folded it.

Not only for a valance or wall hanging, but would be most whimsical on an upholstered headboard in your eclectic guest room!
