These elevator panels are so rare and collectible! I love the jeweled lights. The Seaberg Elevator Co. was founded in Brooklyn, New York, U.S.A. Seaberg installed elevators in New York, and manufactured their own controllers, and probably most of their own parts. This rare and unique Seaberg Elevator panel is an amazing piece of New York History. I believe this model was from the 1930-1940's, according to my research. This amazing elevator plate was removed from an old building in New York City. It is in vintage condition with patina, oxidation, signs of wear, paint remnants and surface scratches. The plate is made of brass, and has remnants of white and black paint. The up button is intact, but is not the original. It must have been replaced in the original building years ago. The down button is missing and has a bolt in its place. The up button has surface wear. The glass jewel lights are intact and in good condition. The paint could be stripped and the piece could be restored, or it can be displayed and used as is. It is in vintage and used condition. Please enlarge the photos for the greatest details. Mounting hardware is not included. We have additional Otis, Staley and Kiesling antique elevator hardware in stock. Please check out our Antique Hardware section.
This antique elevator number plate would make an incredible statement piece. It can be used easily as a lamp with LED's or could be wall decor.
