This is Mabry Mill, painted from a photo taken years ago while on vacation. The soft colors and gentle flow of the water and sunny slopes bring peaceful thoughts. While visiting the mill, we got to see how the water was directed down wooden troughs, hidden in the trees to the wheel. The Smokie Mountains and Blue Ridge top Parkway is a beautiful area to paint. This painting can be framed or hung as is with its painted sides.
