Product code: Thomas Edison Bust Bank Vintage Bronzed Metal top Banthrico Lee County Bank of Fort Myers, Florida 1950's

Original 1950's era Banthrico bust bank of Thomas Edison made to promote the Lee County Bank of Fort Myers, Florida.

This Edison bank is cast in metal with a bronze finish and excellent sharp detail. The front is inscribed "Thomas A. Edison" in his handwriting, and the back reads "THE LEE COUNTY BANK - FORT MYERS, FLORIDA". The underside has the metal coin slot/trap that has been replaced.

It measures 5.5" tall by 4" wide by 3" deep, and weighs a little over 1 lb. It's in very good vintage condition with some finish wear and a tiny top crack on side of the head near his ear.

An excellent likeness of Edison and a good older bust bank for your collection.
