Silver First Holy Communion medal, French, hallmarked, large size, top vintage. GR/477

A splendid larger than normal ornate French hallmarked First Holy Communion medal or pendant from the 1950s.
Decorated to the front with a central chalice and a radiant Host with "I.H.S" to the centre, flanked by wheat stalks and a vine, Bread and Wine.
A very ornate religious pendant top which has been hand tooled to give a bright shiny finish, not and never has been engraved to the reverse or the front, in original condition and bears the French standard mark of a crab to denote 800/1000 silver.
