These earrings represent a merging of skills between a long-time friend and beader...and myself. Sherrie Reed from Helena, Montana does beaded earrings that feel like silk when you wear them...they are so sensual. She also has just the right tension on the beaded strands so that they are flexible and complement your every move. She uses colors better than any beader I know and we have always enjoyed our collaborations. I made a few sets of tops and sent them to Sherrie, allowing her to top do her magic. The tops of the earrings are made of copper that has been stamped and accented with a 5 mm Kingman turquoise cabochon. The beadwork is done with colors that go very nicely with the metal and stone...the beads are a mix of glass, turquoise, and heishi.
