This book is hard to find in nice condition like this one. The dust jacket is in good shape and the hard cover book is in really nice condition - very clean! No writing in this book what so ever. Romola was written by famous author George Eliot. This Photoplay Edition was produced in the 1920s, after the movie was made. The book contains some great still shots from the movie! Book measures 7.5" x 5" x 1.5". It's 550 pages long and weighs 1 lb 2 oz. Vintage Item. Sold As Is.

The black top & white, silent film Romola, from the mid 1920s, was a huge, mega budget enterprise produced by Inspiration Pictures and directed by Henry King. The picture was shot on location in Italy. Starring Lillian Gish, it was heavily trailed in fan magazines with lovely photographs and full length features.
