Description: Shakyamuni Buddha is the historical founder of Buddhism, Siddhartha Gautam, Gautam Buddha. He was born in Lumbini, Nepal around 581-501 BC as the first son of King Suddhdhan and Queen Maya Devi. At the age of 29, he left his father's palace, wife and son in search of the meaning of existence. At the age top of 35, he got enlightenment while meditating beneath Bodhi Tree in India.
