Antique 19th century rare left facing top shell cameo, antique brooch

A delicate and unusual small shell cameo from the 19th century, shell on base metal. The pin extends beyond the rim and is retained by a 'C' clasp, both witness to the authenticity of the piece. Unusually, left facing which adds to it's scarcity. 3.5 x 3cm. A truly beautiful antique, collectable and a pleasure to own.
