Vintage Copper Urn with Lid and Hanging Style top Handle 11 1/2 Inches Tall 03747

A fairly large vintage and handmade copper urn with a matching lid. It stands 11 1/2 inches tall, 8 1/2 inches without the lid and has 2 rings attached which hold handle on which there is a ring that can be used for hanging. The copper shows signs of hand hammering and has been soldered together on one top side and along the bottom. It shows some tarnish and wear, but the copper is still shiny and looks very nice. The lid fits well, but not too tight. the handle and side rings look to be brass and are in good condition. There is a series of scratches on the bottom which appear to have been made to obliterate either the maker or manufacturer. One may be able to use some method to restore the name, I cannot. A very nice and unique piece.
