Imhotep

Imhotep is the famous architect and minister of King Djoser who built the Saqqara complex and the Step Pyramid. Manetho attributed to him the first use of stone in construction. Imhotep's reign dates back to the era of the Third Dynasty in the Old Kingdom (about 2800 BC). Imhotep had many titles, including "the chief priest of Heliopolis", "the sculptor", and "the maker of pots", and in the modern state many titles were added to him, including: High Priest, the Wise, the Chief Scribe, and the Son of God Ptah. Imhotep's name was written on the pedestal of the statue of Djoser, and he was much glorified during his lifetime.
Imhotep was a genius architect who used stone for the first time in history, and excelled in the construction of Djoser's funeral ensemble.
In the late era, his worship became entrenched, and he became his temples, and he was worshiped as a doctor and healer. In the Sawy era, he was depicted as a man sitting and quietly reading a papyrus resting on his legs, and many bronze statues were sculpted for him.
In the Greek era, the Greeks associated him with "Aesculpius", the Greek god of medicine, and continued to build temples to him.
