Carnival top Glass Footed Bowl ~ Northwood Glass Iridescent Amythyst & Metallic Silver ~ 3-Fruit Medallion 7 3/4" in Diameter ~ Ruffled

This is an unusual carnival glass bowl with a satiny silver metallic iridescent hue accompanied by purple, blue and green. It is a Northwood Glass piece, although there is no manufacturer's mark. the base glass appears to be clear, although there is little of it without finish to make a good determination. The pattern is in relief on the interior and exterior of the bowl. The interior pattern features cherries, pears and peaches accompanied by their leaves. The exterior pattern is called 'Meander' and has panels that correspond with the ruffles. Within the panels are tear drop shapes surrounded by a beaded pattern that appears on the underside as well. The bowl is 7 3/4" in diameter and 4" from table to top of the ruffled edge. The 3 feet are spatula shaped and 1 1/4" tall. There are a few small imperfections that are a result of the manufacturing process and one small scratch but no chips or flea bites. Beautiful antique glass. top
